New York and Lyons: the two arenas of the last contest for the World Chess Championship between the two greatest names in chess today. The Champion: charismatic Garry Kasparov, the youngest ever holder of the title and possibly the greatest player in history. The Challenger: Anatoly Karpov, World Champion for 11 years before Kasparov took his crown, and the record-breaking winner of over 80 top class tournaments.
